Be a part of Godstock 2009

What would you charge for admission to an event that just might touch the heart of a young person and bring him/her closer to God? What would you pay to be a part of such an event?

We feel that an experience like this is priceless. We want to keep it affordable. Starting last year in 2008, we have been forced to charge a small admission fee to the event to help cover our costs and we keep the concession prices very low.  In 2009, we are charging $10 at the gate or $8.00 for groups of 20 people or more.  Bring your youth group and save money!

But each year the costs rise, and at the same time our vision continues to grow. Our fundraising is literally a year-round effort that makes up only a part of the cost. We need your help with your small admission fee.  If you would like to make an additional donation, we would certainly welcome that too! 

You can help by spreading the word. Let others know about the event and urge them to join us. Speak to your Church's youth leaders about making a youth group trip to the concert. Perhaps your youth group could put together a fundraiser for Godstock, as other area youth groups have done. A bake sale or car wash, whatever might raise a few extra dollars. The donations could be mailed to us or bring them with you on the day of the concert (donation bins will be scattered throughout the venue). For any youth ministers out there reading this, we feel that your youth will get an extra boost through their fundraising efforts. When they show up at the concert and see what their efforts have accomplished, they will have a feeling of ownership in the project and the satisfaction of helping to serve the Lord.

If your group does perform a fundraiser for Godstock, please enclose a note with the donation to let us know. We will have your group announced at the festival and, if we get the donation early enough, added to our list of "Friends of Godstock" listed in our program book!

No matter whether you are able to help in fundraising, we need you to keep Godstock in your thoughts and prayers! And urge others to join us at Godstock! That is the most important thing, spreading the word. That is what Jesus called on all Christians to do for the Kingdom of God. So grab a lawn chair, a blanket and a friend and get ready for a day of music, praise and worship!
