For those traveling a long distance to attend Godstock 2009, and wish to seek lodging in the Fairfield area....

Fairfield, Illinois is small community of 5900 people.  There are only (2) hotels in the community.   There are a few vacancies at the Fairfield Uptown Motel (618) 842-2191.  It is located at 201 S. 1st Street....about a mile and a half East of the Wayne County Fairgrounds Grandstand where the Godstock Festival is held.

There are cabins and dorm rooms available at the Zion Hill Campground...about 5 miles East of Fairfield on Rt. 15.  A donation is suggested, no cost is involved.  There are bathrooms, and running water & electricity in the cabins and dorm rooms.  Adult supervision is required. We have had youth groups stay at Zion Hill Campground in previous years.  There are also hook-ups available at Zion Hill for campers, motor homes, etc.  The grounds will also support space for tents, etc.
